Noticing Assignment and Most Memorable Experience

My favorite literacy narrative was, "How I Learned About the Power of Writing," by Richarch Bulleck. In this narrative I noticed how motivated he was about reading. He was showing the audience determination. He loved reading and wanted to learn more about it. His grandmother wanted him to be different, go to school, and be all that he could be. I also noticed where he said, "I also came to realize the great gift my grandmother had given me."He was showing his appreciation for all his grandmother did for him. She believed in him and therefore he believes in himself. This narrative showed the audience how much this little boy learned from his grandmother just by her reading and spending time with him. Because of her, he became interested in reading and learning. It also showed his grandmother's love and commitment by helping him become more than she and his parents. When you have a love for reading it enhances your thirst for knowledge.

My most memorable experience was my parents divorce. I had to get used to a lot of different changes! Now I have the greatest relationship with my parents. I have gained a step-dad, step-mom, and step-siblings. My parents are both so happy and therefore so am I. I am not as close to my dad as I used to be and I don't see him as often as I would like but I can call him for anything and he will always be here for me. I have became super close to my mom! I moved in with her once I started high school, and I am so glad. This experience I had to go through as a seventh grader has had a significant impact on my life and made me stronger. My parents splitting up created and emotional adversity that made me stronger and showed me that something good could come from something that seemed so bad.
