Topic Proposal
The topic I would
like to research for my final essay is technology in health care and how it
changes/saves lives. Technology has changed so much and advances extremely
rapidly. I would like to learn how advanced medical technology may save or
change someone’s life and why.
I feel as if this
topic would make a great research essay because it’s very important and means
so much to me. I want to make a difference and save lives, which is not
possible without technology. I would love to learn about the difference it
makes in people’s lives or how it’s saved them.
Also I would like
to know if it causes any complications in diagnosing or for nurses having to
learn so many new things. I feel as if it could also be dangerous or
aggravating. If a machine or another type of equipment malfunctions it could
hurt someone or delay a process. Each of these things are very significant and
a topic I would love to learn more about.
Other possible questions:
·
How drastic is the change in technology compared
to a few years ago?
·
How do other’s feel about the changes in medical
technology?
·
How does advanced medical technology make a
difference?

Reflection on Essay 3
This essay was a struggle towards the end because I knew that my first paragraph was too short and missing something. I finally was able to make it longer, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I have trouble with my papers not being long enough because I like to get my point across, short, sweet and to the point. I feel as if I just ramble on if my paragraphs aren't long enough and I have to go back and add things. It's tough but I'm really trying to work harder on fixing that. I loved my song and topic, and am so glad I chose it! I'm not a big fan of research papers but this one wasn't so bad. The Bridging the Difference book helped me so much with my annotated bibliography and works cited page. I feel as if I did a really good job and I put a lot of effort into this essay.
